Intrusive weeds spoil the outdoor area and take a lot of time to weed and to get rid of it. Enough tolerating this! Weeds must be fought with radical methods so that they do not annoy all summer in the UK garden.

Soda

A soda solution prepared from 1 liter of warm water and 5 tbsp will help remove the grass. The resulting product can be watered with young weeds, it is not suitable for overgrown ones. Just do it quickly, because after 2-3 hours the solution will lose its beneficial properties.

Vinegar

Acetic acid works as well as chemicals, but is safe for animals and people. Apply the product carefully so as not to spoil the root system of plants. Vinegar can be used in several variations:

    • dot the weeds with 9% acid;
    • treat perennial herbs with tenacious roots with 40% vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio;
    • dissolve 6% acid in 1 liter of water and spray weeds every 2-3 days;
    • mix 5 tbsp. 9% vinegar, 2 tbsp. salt and 1 liter of boiling water to make a killer solution that eliminates weeds from the first application.

Herbicidal soap

The solution is easy to prepare yourself. To do this, mix equal parts liquid soap, 5% or 9% vinegar and salt. Liquid soap can be replaced with solid, grated, or dishwashing gel. The resulting product is watered with weeds in hot weather.

Weeds can also be controlled mechanically. For example, regularly prune sprouting grass seedlings until the roots weaken and die. The life hack is especially relevant for perennial root shoot weeds like oxtongue, thistle and bindweed.
